We are a family of four embarking on an 11-month sailing voyage from Hong Kong in March 2017. Our family includes Mr Finn, Mrs Finn, Big Sis and Lil Sis. “Finn” is not our surname, but rather denotes our nationality. We are not quite sure where we will end up during these 11 months, but we are pretty certain that it will be a life-changing journey for all of us. Mr Finn and Mrs Finn are used to living with high-pressure jobs, and the girls (who are 14 and 11 at the start of our voyage) are equally used to a busy life with school and a multitude of hobbies. We are eagerly (but, let’s admit it, also with some apprehension) looking forward to adjusting to life at sea with its joys and challenges.
